CAULFIELD CUP TIP – MIGHTY HIGH – Race 8 TAB No. 1 [Caulfield].Has proved his class in Hong Kong and is capable of handling this weight. Should get a nice run from the one alley with Beadman to guide him.

BEST BET – EYES ON GUARD – Race 1 TAB No. 3 [Randwick].
Drops from a stakes placing to a benchmark 67. Has the services of the best jockey in Sydney on Saturday and the odds over $3. Looks a luxury.

BEST VALUE – SPEEDINESS – Race 6 TAB No. 13 [Caulfield].
Like the way he hit the line first-up and he does boast a second to Sincero in the Scone Guineas. Suited by the trip second up and sure to be hitting the line strongly.

LAY – DECEMBER DRAW – Race 8 TAB No. 9 [Caulfield].
Shapes as if he gets the trip but the fact remains he is unproven. At his best on dead ground so with no further rain will also be a risk on a good track.

BEST BACKED – NIAGARA – Race 4 TAB No. 8 [Caulfield].
Has form around the likes of Manawanui and punters were quick to knock off the $7. Into $5 with money still coming.

Has a slightly awkward draw to contend with but I feel he could develop into a star of the spring. Worth noting an unbeaten second-up record and can cause an upset.

BEST BET – LAMASERY- Race 7 TAB No. 1 [Rosehill].
Racing in career best form and will be hard to beat again. Is a horse on the up and can justify a Melbourne trip with a win here.

BEST VALUE – OBSEQUIOUS – Race 8 TAB No. 2 [Rosehill].
Is much better than her first-up failure and at her best would stretch this lot. Worth an each-way ticket at big odds.

LAY – SMART MISSILE – Race 6 TAB No. 13 [Caulfield].
Think they would have liked to test him on the pace but have been hamstrung by the draw. Will need every ounce of luck to win this.

Similar support for Bel Sprinter here as for Parables in the Let’s Elope, with over fifty percent of all bets to date on the unbeaten speedster, who opened at $4.50 before settling at around the $4 mark. Amazing really, considering his best win is at Listed level, yet he meets seven Group 1 winners here. Mares Dubleanny ($6.40) and Response ($9) are the only two under double figures on Betfair.

DONCASTER TIP – LOVE CONQUERS ALL- Race 7 TAB No.7 [Randwick]
Massive run when stuck out wide to beat all but Rangirangdoo last time. Gets a 6.5kg turnaround from his second to More Joyous two runs back. Unbeaten at Randwick and looks great value.

BEST BET – AEROBATICS – Race 3 TAB No.1 [Randwick]
Rocketed home last start after drawing wide and being given a little freshen up for this. No luck with the marbles again but the spacious Randwick track should give her every chance.

BEST VALUE – NEWS ALERT – Race 8 TAB No.6 [Randwick]
Another stuck wide last start and had no right to get as close as he did. Has displayed a liking for Randwick and looks great each way value.

THE LAY – MORE JOYOUS – Race 7 TAB No.1 [Randwick]
Think the Doncaster has more depth than last year’s Toorak in which she scored with a big weight. She’s outstanding but with her build always a risk from her fifth start in onwards.
