BEST BET – EYES ON GUARD – Race 1 TAB No. 3 [Randwick].
Drops from a stakes placing to a benchmark 67. Has the services of the best jockey in Sydney on Saturday and the odds over $3. Looks a luxury.
BEST VALUE – SPEEDINESS – Race 6 TAB No. 13 [Caulfield].
Like the way he hit the line first-up and he does boast a second to Sincero in the Scone Guineas. Suited by the trip second up and sure to be hitting the line strongly.
LAY – DECEMBER DRAW – Race 8 TAB No. 9 [Caulfield].
Shapes as if he gets the trip but the fact remains he is unproven. At his best on dead ground so with no further rain will also be a risk on a good track.
